About Dr Jonathan Nsamba

Dr Jonathan Nsamba is an epidemiologist and public health expert with over eight years of experience in public health, community medicine, and nutrition research in low-resource settings. His work focuses on cardiometabolic health, hypertension, nutrition, and population-level risk factors, integrating advanced epidemiological methods, biomarker-based research, and health systems perspectives. Dr Nsamba has contributed to the design, implementation, and evaluation of community-based and multisectoral health programmes across Africa, working closely with universities, NGOs, development partners, and community organisations.

Strategic Advisory & Consultancy

Dr Nsamba provides tailored advisory and consultancy support to health organisations, academic institutions, and development partners. His work supports evidence-informed programme design, research translation, monitoring and evaluation, and policy-relevant outputs to strengthen public health and medical initiatives in community settings.

Research Mentoring & Capacity Building

He offers high-level research mentoring and capacity-building support for postgraduate students, early-career researchers, and public health professionals. This includes guidance on research design, data analysis, academic writing, and translating research into policy and practice, delivered through one-to-one mentoring, small group sessions, or institutional workshops.
